View all >About the New York Women's Foundation
The New York Women's Foundation creates an equitable and just future for women and families by uniting a cross-cultural alliance that ignites action and invests in bold, community-led solutions across the city.
The New York Women's Foundation is a leading funder for innovative solutions to the most pressing problems of women from diverse economic, social, and racial backgrounds in New York City and beyond. The Foundation funds solutions that focus on women's economic security and the impediments to it—such as mass incarceration, health, sexual rights and reproductive justice, and violence against women—to help build a society where all women and girls can thrive.
Since 1987, we have invested more than $88 million in more than 400 innovative nonprofits that empower women, girls and their families. And at this time in our nation's history, the work of our grantee partners is more critical than ever.
